(24-Jan-17): Following the launch of the SolarMate Arena Light in November 2016, specialist animal product retailer Clippersharp has launched its ‘Arena Light Fitting Service’, a new turnkey lighting installation service for equestrians who do not have the time or inclination to fit the solar powered lights themselves.
“We’ve had a lot of customers asking us if we can provide the scaffold poles and fit the lights for them, particularly from larger equine establishments and commercial properties where resources are often directed elsewhere, explained Oliver Goody of Clippersharp, he continues “The ‘Arena Light Fitting Service’ provides a turnkey lighting solution for any manège, arena, paddock, stable yard or sportsfield that needs light but doesn’t have an electricity supply.”
The new Service includes provision of the 4m scaffold poles where required, as well as an audit of the area to be illuminated, with recommendations if there are any obstructions that may reduce the efficiency and operation of the SolarMate Arena Lights. Installers will also ensure that each light is perfectly sited with the correct head angle, this tilt is critical to maximising the lightpool.
The cost of the new installation service is quoted on a project by project basis and is dependent on the number of lights and scaffold poles required. As a guide, to supply and fit a 60m x 40m arena with 12 SolarMate Arena Lights plus scaffold poles (we recommend 4 each side and 2 each end) would cost £2,720 + fuel.
